LTC Language Solutions is looking for a Interpreting Support Coordinator that will join our Interpreting Department team. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills and someone that is dedicated to providing exception customer service. This position is responsible for phone management, data entry, and scheduling appointments for the department.

Here is what you get to do:

  • Answer phone and take requests during work hours, as needed.
  • Schedule appointments for same day and future appointments for both ASL and FL.
  • Data entry of appointment information before appointments occur.
  • Assist the department with monitoring Interpreting@ email based on provided schedule. 
  • Collection of timesheets from interpreters following appointments and validation of this information within the LTC interpreting systems.
  • Manage and update interpreting database as necessary, ie interpreter’s availability and any documentation required by Compliance Administrator.
  • Attend and participate in department meetings.
  • Provide new ideas as it relates to interpreting or translation to improve LTC’s services and/or efficiency in providing these services.
  •  Provide client and community support and outreach as specified by supervisor
  •  Must be available for Holiday phone coverage as need.
  •   Completes other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION DETAILS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Location:                    Indianapolis, IN 

Education:                  Associate’s degree preferred. 

Experience:                Experience working with other cultures and languages. Interpreting experience preferred.

Knowledge:                Must have knowledge of MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel), excellent phone                                       skills, customer service oriented, organized, detail oriented. Must have the ability                                       manage time efficiently.
