In-Person ESL Instructor

LTC Language Solutions is seeking an ESL instructor for face-to-face tutoring in New York City. We are a language services provider specializing in language and cultural training for relocating expats. We have 2 adult students living in New York City who are requesting the following services: 

• Language Class: Intermediate English for 2 adult students from Chile 

• Location: Students' home in NYC (zip code: 10016, near NYU Langone Health on 1st Ave.)

• Schedule: Three 90-minute classes per week per student after 5 PM on weekdays; or three 60-minute classes per week per student if teaching both students back-to-back

• Start: As soon as instructor is available

• Duration: Up to 38 hours per student

• Requirements: Native English speaker with 2+ years’ experience teaching adults and a college degree (preferably in related field)

• Compensation: Negotiable hourly rate

• Curriculum: Based on student goals. If textbooks are needed, LTC will cover the cost. Teacher expected to supplement with authentic materials and activities.
