LTC Language Solutions is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development  Representative who appreciates the art and science of sales; someone who likes forging strong relationships with clients and someone who likes being part of a team. You’ll work closely alongside a small but growing team in a fast-paced environment. 

This individual will need to have a strong desire to learn and will want to not only help clients succeed but also strive to make a difference in the lives of others. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate effectively while growing the scope of client relationships.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Prospect Development:
  1. On a weekly basis, initiate at least 400 weekly/1600 monthly sales contact either through the phone, email, or on-site contacting prospects (or current clients once these are obtained).
  2. Obtain 5 weekly/20 monthly client meeting that are face to face or phone/virtual meetings with new clients. 
  3. Respond to a client or prospect in 24 hours or less.
  4. Maintain a track record of successful new business development across multiple market segments, preferably corporate sales. 
  5. Responsible for identifying prospects in assigned geographic and vertical territories.    
  6. Secure new business using appropriate strategies, including cold calls and emails.
  7. Attend minimum of one networking event per month, preferably for corporate organizations to develop new leads.
  8. Follow-up with all leads gotten through canvassing, calls, and networking events to establish client meetings and leverage for additional contacts and referrals. 
  9. Call on current clients to get leads for referrals. 
  10. Analyze opportunities for growth with new businesses and verticals by conducting meetings, placing calls, and canvassing local businesses and government agencies.
  11. Create and review proposals and quotes for potential customers. 

Sales:
  1. Builds, maintains, and develops knowledge to become an expert on LTC’s services, as well as the competitive landscape for language solutions. 
  2. Be accountable for achieving sales quota by hunting and developing new business opportunities.
  3. Maintain a strong pipeline and actively manage opportunities throughout the entire sales process.
  4. Fluently articulate LTC’s solutions to new clients relative to customer business needs.
  5. Identify prospect clients’ challenges / pain points and position LTC’s solutions effectively to be the solution service provider and win opportunities
  6. Cold call/email and prospect by best-practices to identify new warm leads
  7. Collaborate with marketing to generate demand, and follow-up on marketing campaigns. 
  8. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  9. Understand client buying habits and needs in order to deepen and solidify relationships which will allow LTC to upsell and cross-sell.
  10. Stay abreast of business trends in in the language industry.
  11. Assist with the development of LTC in assigned regions by creating and leveraging contacts with local corporate entities. 

Current and Prospective Client Management:
  1. Track all activity in Salesforce, the sales management tool used by LTC. All contacts will be entered into salesforce.com and categorized into the proper level of contact (lead, contact, opportunity). Activity will be tracked in a way determined by LTC.
  2. Manage clients in an organized fashion, communicating with supervisors in regards to the status of clients. Follow up with clients in a timely manner and provide them with the information that they need.
  3. Manage all aspects of the client relationship including sales to operations handoff, case/issue management, new need management, and anything else that may arise.
  4. Contact all clients 4 or more times per year with relevant information and seek to meet at least one of these times face to face.
  5. Ensure current clients are met with and new clients and services are explored.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:                      Bachelor's degree required.  Business majors preferred.

Experience:                    2-5 years’ sales and business development experience required.                                                         International background is a plus.  Proven experience and success in                                               hunting for new business opportunities. 

Competencies:               -Extensive networking and business development skills are required.
                                       -Passionate, self-motivated, strategic thinker, with strong negotiation skills.
                                       -Track record of consistently meeting sales quota.
                                       -Confidence and experience communicating and interfacing with all client                                             levels, from operational through C-level executives.
                                       -Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills
                                       -Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
                                      
The employee may be required to work hours outside of normal business hours including longer days and weekends. The employee must also be organized. Demonstrates excellent people skills to include effective verbal and written communication. Must be able to effectively manage large amounts of client information.
